Wine Tour beside Mount Vesuvius overlooking Capri and Gulf of Naples….. One of the winery that we choose to go is owned from a small family , that make excellent wines ( Possibly organic ) . The winery estate covers 11 hectares of south-facing land and is situated between 250 and 350 meters above sea level, overlooking towards the Peninsula Sorrentina the island of Capri and Gulf of Naples with the imposing bulk of the Volcano Vesuvius , you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy and explore with the expert winemaker with good English speaking about the vineyards raised on pergolas and olive-groves planted in dark soil rich in lava , so you can get your questions answered no matter what from the expert. In this winery that was born after the last eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the 1944, you will be served some appetizer (bruschetta, salame, provolone, home made bread with extravirgin olive oil), spaghetti with cherry tomatoes to finish with our typical easter cake the "Pastiera Napoletana" (a ricotta and corn pie), all these food will be accompanied with 5 different wines (among white, red and rosèe), 1 spumante (sparkling wine) and 1 distilled of apricot.
